The RS Performance ’66 Chevelle has gone beyond proving itself and the capabilities of the RS Performance Chevelle Chassis after testing at the Super Chevy Magazine West Coast testing facility in southern California. The car was tested on Michelin street tires with all standard suspension components.

“We subjected it to our battery of braking, slalom, and skid pad tests. Once again the Chevelle left us with nothing but smiles. It pulled .98g on the skid pad, stopped from 60 – 0 in a scant 117 ft, and ran our 420-ft slalom in 5.76 seconds, which equals 49.71 mph. This is the fastest slalom time we have ever recorded!” – Super Chevy Magazine, December 2007
